It is a very well known fact to everyone that when you look better you will feel better. Take care of your skin on daily basis helps you to look your best and put your best foot forward when you go out into the world.
Having beautiful skin as you grow older means making smart choices throughout your life. Having proper skin care is essential to help slow down the harmful effects of time, as well as your environment.
I think everyone will be known the importance of taking a good care of our skin to achieve glowing and healthy skin. Natural skincare products help us to look fresh and feel great. It contains natural ingredients which are good for our health and better for the environment.
Giving yourself a little love and attention can boost your confidence too. You know this already. Taking care of your skin should not be something you see as a luxury; it should be part of your routine. Your skin deserves that, you deserve that.
If we took a little more care of our skin, imagine the rewards and for this you don’t need chemical based super expensive skin care products. So I would like to float an idea for you: DIY skin care. These are some my favorite DIY face wash for skin care. These face washes are homemade and natural.
Aloe Vera:
Aloe Vera plant must be included in your skin care routine. If you want to get it maximum benefits, get it straight to the source and for that you can grow your own aloe at your home. The gel comes from inside of the plant leaf. So cut it open with a clean knife and separate the gel from the prickly stalk. Then apply this gel on your face thoroughly and leave it for 5 to 10 minutes than wash it with plain water. You will see the changes in your skin within one week. It is that powerful. Apply it daily on your face to get it maximum benefits. It is a natural face cleanser.
If you have never used Aloe Vera before, caution is the key. Start by applying a small amount of the plant to your skin, somewhere other than your face (like your arm or thigh). Wait at list 24 hours to test for an allergic reaction. If you don’t notice anything improper, you can use it in larger quantities and there will be more benefits than you can imagine.
Gram Flour and Curd
Curd is one of the most popular skincare kitchen ingredients that can improve the quality of your skin. It can moisturize your skin; improve its brightness and elasticity. Milk products have lactic acid. That not only hydrates your skin but gently exfoliates, too.
People with normal or oily skin types can use this as face wash daily. It can make your skin look brighter. For this take two tablespoon of curd and one table spoon of besan in a bowl and prepare a thick paste. Use it daily for wash your face. It is popular as a facial or body exfoliator too.
It’s a homemade natural face wash that is a wonderful substitute of chemical based market face wash. Give it a try. You will definitely love the result.
Raw Milk and White Bread
Take a piece of white bread and break it into little pieces. Put it in a bowl and add raw or unboiled milk to it. Add so much milk that the bread gets soaked in it approximately 2 to 3 tablespoons. When bread has absorbed all the milk and become soft, crush the pieces and make a paste. Then apply it on your face and neck region (never avoid your neck when you wash your face or apply anything on it like any pack or cream or lotion. Your neck needs a good care too just like your face). Apply the milk and bread paste all over and allow sitting on the face for 5 minutes. If you have time you may leave it for 10 to 15 minutes.
When it dries, use your fingers to massage the face and rub the bread crumbs. Your scrub will come off. Then wash your face with lukewarm water and pat it dry. You will feel a burst of freshness and softness on the face and neck. It can improve the blood circulation too. Regular use improves complexion, makes skin clear and supple.
You can also make a larger quantity of this and use it as a body scrub before a shower. It can be used on babies too.
Milk cleanses the face and act as a natural moisturizer. The bread contains flour, oils, sugar, salt; all of them act as natural exfoliants when mixed it with milk.
But make sure don’t rub it too much and certainly not beyond five seconds. If you are allergic to milk/flour, do a patch test first.
These are some my favorite homemade natural face wash and ‘Do It Yourself’ tricks which I have personally tried and found them very effective for me. Whatever is written is truly personal opinion. I have been using these tricks for many years and all of these tricks do wonder for me even now.
I have normal skin. Aloe Vera and besan and curd pack is something which you can use daily. But milk and bread paste is recommended to use once a week. Although I used to do it daily and I didn't have any problem, I will request you to use your intelligence and wisdom, before you try any of it.
